It's awesome being back home and just hanging out with the family. I'm enjoying it a lot actually.

Friday, May 18, 2007

Hey, I'm working at the Cosmosphere this summer, awesome right? I'm pretty excited. Not yet addicted. Let me tell you, Facebook is the best invention ever.

Anyway, I'm at the Library trying to do my homework, sorta...you know how that goes.

Love BYU, what's new? Give me a holla.

Sunday, October 08, 2006

This is SOOOO weird. I haven't written on my xanga in over 6 months. That's mostly because I didn't need to get addicted again, and because BYU's internet blocked it forever. For some reason I had the compulsion to check it and here I am!

Loving college, it's the best. I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep lately, but that will change soon, I know for sure.

Later!

Wednesday, April 26, 2006

WHOAH. It's a huge exercise in self discipline too...

Hopefully I'll get on every so often to read about everyone's lives, but I probably won't be posting too often. Afterall, the comments haven't been flowin' the way they used to.

Have fun y'all!

Guess what.....

We're the

2006 6A State Wrestling Champions!!

Congrats guys! Can't wait to get those rings!

Timberline was great. One last meal with the guys was fun too....good times. Especially Q running over Haught's car...and Roman finding everything 5 billion times funnier than it really was....Houlden eating everything in sight and Logan getting his drinks polluted.

We have 3 state champions: Tyler, Brad, and Boaz. Chase got 2nd too. Then Ryan got 6th, Mitch 4th, Dusty 4th, and Chadd 5th. Way to go!

What a night. Good sleepin' though.

Saturday, February 25, 2006

I love State wrestling.....I rather like 4A not being there. I only wish they could block the mats instead of having them in strips. It's okay I guess. Man, all our guys are still in tonight, we're in 1st and the guys have eaten. We're ready for war tomorrow.

Tuesday, February 21, 2006

I love the idea of showing appreciation. I mean, I know I feel 5 million times better in a day when someone, anyone, says hi to me....so I'm going to try to make everyone's day. You never know who you impact.

Well, now, I never got to comment on the funeral. Basically, I left sort of frustrated. I mean, how can anyone get hope from some of what the pastor said? The same thing happened at Jan's dad's funeral. Just when they say, "We know you are confused. We know you're asking 'Why him, why now?' ". It makes me so sad. I mean, death isn't the end. Sure, it's the end to our mortal life, it's leaving friends to finish their lives without you, but if you've lived a righteous life, there shouldn't be anything to fear about death. I love Shelly's attitude: "Bring it on! I'm not afraid!" It's times like this where I'm so thankful for the teachings I've grown up with. The hope it instills in me in tragic times like these. The sure knowledge that we will be with our families again, with our good friends, eternally. The plan of Salvation is amazing. I especially know that after losing Addison, my testimony has grown of it. Never brought o full term, but very much a living being, his spirit had a chance to have a body, if only for a few months. I wish everyone could share this secure feeling-- and they can too. It's my fault for not sharing---

My family is coming down with something. We're all sick. And I feel like crap. I had a HUGE headache all day today, and it finally got so bad that I had to leave practice early. With some good medication, chinese food, caffeine and chocolate, I'm feeling loads better. Just hope it doesn't come back even worse tomorrow.

KSN's coming in to interview and tape the team tomorrow. Coach isn't ecstatic about it. We'd love to have more people come and support us at state, but we don't need that target on our backs. We are only one of the favorites for state-- most definitely not a shoe-in....they're gonna have to work just as hard as so many other teams there. Hope the whole publicity thing doesn't screw with their heads either. But then again, I'm not too afraid.

Went over to the Harts' to get Calc help. I think it's pretty awesome that I can do that...too bad I felt like I was incroaching on their evening, so I tried to get the most minimum help possible.

English test tomorrow. Listening to Jane Eyre for the FINAL time. Too bad now my time will be entirely consumed by this darn research paper. Drats. At least mine only has to be 1800 words not 2500 like the WSU kids....heheh. It's still a lot of pages! Need a topic.....

Thursday, February 16, 2006

Funeral is at Weslink at 1. Probably to accommodate more people. I'm so glad to know that graduates are able to come back and go. Randy's even coming back. Saw Dacosta, and Patrick; I know more will come too.

We got a free trampoline. Hannah is ecstatic. Still not put up yet, but that won't damper her excitement. The only sad part is that her good friends are moving. At least a little girl is moving into that house....

Art field trip was good. But I only got to see one quarter of the exhibit. One hour wasn't even close to enough time. I HAVE to go back...anyone one wanna come? It's almost sick how good some high school students can be.

My second half of my Valentine's gift from my mom came today...Newsies soundtrack. Already listened to it once.

My mouth hurt all today. I want them off now, k?

For church tonight we did nails and hair....really productive, huh? Well, I got my hair done up really cool. I like it. I don't know when I'll ever do it like that again....
